In Bloons Tower Defense 3 you defend eight different tracks across 50 rounds, with Freeplay after that if you want to see how far your build really goes. Cash is tight, upgrades are short and meaningful, and every placement actually matters—no mindless tower spam here.

What you’re working with
Your core lineup is classic: Dart Monkey (hello Spike-O-Pult upgrade), Tack Shooter for corners, Boomerang for sweet arcs, Bomb/Cannon for splash, Ice to freeze lanes, the almighty Super Monkey, and the Monkey Beacon to buff the squad. Road Spikes, Pineapples, and Monkey Glue are your panic buttons when things get spicy. Three difficulties tweak your lives and income, so even the first track can turn sweaty on Hard.

Why it’s not just “place and pray”
Bloons have personalities. Leads ignore sharp stuff, Blacks resist explosions, Whites don’t care about ice, and Ceramics are mini tanks. Around the late 30s (yep, ~37) the first MOAB rumbles in and explodes into ceramics when popped—if you’re not prepared, it bulldozes your line. That’s why combo planning is everything.

• Tack Shooters near bends farm cheap pops early.
• Ice + Bomb is a delete button; freeze then boom. Boomerang’s Sonic Boom helps with frozen layers, too.
• Beacon buffs range/fire rate; time your upgrades right before tough rounds instead of after.
• Park Road Spikes at the exit as a seatbelt—clutch saves happen there.
