TABS β Classroom Center G Review & Tips Tricks:
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS) is what happens when history class gets a ragdoll filter and a sense of humor. Youβre the commander, the budget is tight, and the battlefield is a sandbox. Drop units like clubbers, shield dudes, spear throwers, archers, catapultsβeven a lightning-tossing Zeus if youβve got the cashβthen hit start and watch physics go full chaos mode. Half strategy, half comedy, 100% βokay, rematch.β
How it plays
You get a pile of coins and a lineup of units. Place them on your side, rotate them for angles, and spread or stack your formation. When the fight begins, the troops control themselvesβyour job is the brain work before the whistle. Use slow-mo to study what went wrong (or went hilariously right), then tweak placements and try again. Itβs endlessly replayable because even the same setup can flop or pop depending on one goofy stumble.
Smart counters (the good stuff)
Archers shred slow, juicy targetsβuntil a single shield line walks up and blocks all the arrows. Loose squads get folded by cavalryβ¦ unless you park pikes up front to make horses regret life. Catapults and ballistae delete bunched enemies, but fast flankers make siege crews panic. The secret sauce is placement: offset your tank so big swings whiff, tuck healers one step back, and send a cheap distraction unit wide to split their formation. Tiny changes = giant swings.
Modes worth your time
Campaign serves puzzle-style battles with weird enemy comps and maps that reward brains (chokes, high ground, cliff-bait). Sandbox is pure science: pirates vs. knights? Mammoth body-blocks? Zeus laser parade? Do it. TABS feels like a strategy lab where losing is still funny, so you never tiltβjust iterate.
Quick tips
1) Anchor the middle with something chunky, hide your glass-cannon damage just behind. 2) Spread out vs. splash; stack tight to punch a hole. 3) Spend to the budgetβunused coins are lost stats. 4) Change spacing before swapping units; positioning alone wins more fights than you think.
