House of Hazards turns normal chores into a sprint through a booby-trapped sitcom set, and it’s hilarious. One second you’re brewing coffee; the next a lamp swings like a wrecking ball while toast blasts from the kitchen like cannon fire. Your goal is simple: finish your task list and make it to the exit before the house (and your “friends”) end you.

How it plays
Each round gives you bite-size objectives—check the mail, water the plant, brew coffee, etc. The twist is that every room hides timed hazards (swinging lights, springy cupboards, floor launchers, rogue toasters) and another player can trigger many of them at the worst possible moment. Controls are super pick-up-and-play—move, jump, interact—so the chaos comes from timing and map knowledge, not complicated inputs. Solo is fun for practice, but 1–4 player local is where it absolutely cooks.

Why it hits
The physics are just wild enough to feel unpredictable, but not so random you can’t improve. After a few rounds you start reading the house—lamps swing on a rhythm, drawers snap with a tell, mailboxes bait greedy sprints. Rounds are quick, rematches are instant, and the “one more” curse is very real.

Tips to win (and troll) better
Route smart: do risky outdoor tasks when the hazard player is distracted; save safe indoor chores for last.
Watch cycles: move right after a lamp’s backswing instead of before it.
Chain traps: nudge someone into a slip, then pop the toaster—two light taps beat one big grief.
Jump discipline: short, late hops keep balance; panic jumps get you clipped.
