Gimme The Airpod is a tiny arena duel that turns one axe into pure mind games. Two players spawn, one shiny AirPod-axe drops, and the rule is spicy-simple: bonk your rival while the axe is airborne and glowing your color. Miss your throw and you’re instantly on defense, scrambling to catch the return and flip momentum. It’s fast, loud, and super readable—perfect for best-of-infinity grudge matches with a friend.

How it plays
Movement is snappy, and throws are all about angles. Hold up or down before you release to arc the axe higher or drive it flatter, then slide into position for the catch so it lights up your color again. Because hits only count mid-air, you can’t cheese wins with melee mashing—every point comes from a clean read, a slick bank shot, or a clutch interception. Stages are compact with platforms and hazards that force different lines; you’ll learn to use walls like billiards for sneaky ricochets.

Why it’s addicting
Matches reset in a blink, so you get that “one more round” loop without downtime. The physics sell every moment—panic catches feel heroic, and a perfect snipe across the map earns an instant “no way!” from both sides. It’s easy to explain (throw, catch, tag), but there’s real ceiling in aim control, spacing, and predicting where the axe will land three steps from now.

Tips from a sweaty teen who won’t put the axe down
Own the landing. Instead of chasing the player, camp the axe’s fall and grab priority.
Throw off the jump peak. Tap jump, wait a beat, release—flatter shots travel faster and catch people dashing in.
Fake high, dart low. Tilt up to sell a lob, then snap a knee-level laser when they jump early.
Bank smart. Practice wall angles; sideways bounces set up free catches into guaranteed tags.
