Recoil is that rare platform shooter where your gun isn’t just for blasting—it’s your legs, jetpack, and panic button all in one. There’s no run or jump key here; every shot shoves you the opposite way, so moving through each level feels like solving a tiny physics puzzle at high speed. Miss a shot and you’ll boop straight into spikes; line it up right and you’ll chain clean bounces like a parkour genius.
How it plays
You’re a tiny blaster nerd clearing out nasty blobs while threading through hazards. Click (or tap) to fire, aim to choose your launch vector—down shots pop you upward, side shots scoot you across tight tunnels, and diagonal shots are the magic for curving around corners. Levels restart instantly, so it’s easy to brute-force a tricky section, learn the angle, and then nail it on the next run.
What makes it awesome
Because aiming = movement, every bullet is a decision. You’re constantly reading the room: “Can I skim this platform’s edge without clipping the spikes?
