Pacman is peak arcade brain workout: one maze, four ghosts, and you—munching dots like it’s cardio day. Sounds simple, but the ghosts don’t just wander. Red presses you hard, pink loves sneaky ambush angles, blue reacts to your position plus red’s pressure, and orange… chills until you get close, then panics and bails. Learning those vibes is where the wins start stacking.

How the maze really works
Ghosts switch between scatter (they drift toward their corners) and chase (they hunt you). Route with the rhythm: when they scatter, clear riskier lanes; when they chase, shift to safer loops. Power pellets flip the script—chomp one, turn the crew blue, and chain those tasty 200→400→800→1600 point snacks. Just don’t overfarm on later levels; the blue timer gets shorter, so grab quick picks and reset your route.

Movement tech (free wins!)
Early turns: press the next direction a beat before the corner and Pacman “clips” the bend faster than the ghosts.
Tunnels: your speed stays steady while theirs dips—use side tunnels to break pursuit and re-center.
Fruit timing: bonus fruit pops in twice per board. Nice points if your path already crosses center, but never yeet your life for a cherry.

Easy starter route
• Open top lanes during the first scatter—safest start.
• Work down the right, leaving a handful of dots near each power pellet for late-game control.
• When the pack stacks up, drag them to a tunnel, swing back for a pellet, and farm a 2–3 ghost combo.

Why it still slaps
Every second is micro-decisions: take the fruit or dodge red, burn a pellet now or keep it for a bailout, commit to a risky corner or reroute. That mix of clean rules + tiny clutch choices = “one more board” forever.
