Hanger is pure “don’t-let-go-now” energy. You’re a stick hero with one rope and a gauntlet of saws, spikes, and walls that hate you. The goal is simple: swing clean, release on time, reattach fast. Do it right and you’ll fly like a superhero; miss by a hair and… well, you’ll learn why the game keeps track of what pieces you’ve left behind.

How it plays
On keyboard, tap Left/Right to pump your swing, Up/Down to shorten or extend the rope, and hit Space to release and shoot a fresh line. Short rope = tight, precise arcs; long rope = huge pendulum speed for big gaps. Levels start chill and quickly turn into tiny-window parkour, so managing rope length is as important as your release timing.

Why it’s addictive
Momentum is the whole game. You’re constantly converting vertical drops into horizontal distance, threading moving blades with millimeters to spare. The physics feel snappy, so every clean pass is mega satisfying, and quick restarts make “one more run” a dangerous phrase. Some versions add score pressure for rope casts and damage taken, so smooth, low-risk routes are the way to grind better times.

Tips from an over-caffeinated grinder
Release just past horizontal. That’s where your swing turns into maximum forward speed.
Feather the rope. Tiny Up/Down taps stabilize wobbly arcs before tight gaps.
Plan anchors. Pick safe ceiling spots ahead of time so you’re not panic-firing into a buzzsaw.
Route first, flex later. Lock a consistent clear, then chase greedy skips for PBs.
