GETTING OVER IT β Classroom Center G Review & Tips Tricks:
Getting Over It is the most βI swear this is my last tryβ game Iβve ever touched. Youβre a dude in a cauldron named Diogenes, swinging a hammer to climb a giant junk mountain. No checkpoints. No mercy. One sloppy flick and youβre yeeted back to the fridge. Sounds evilβ¦ but when it clicks, itβs magic.
How it plays
You move only with your mouse or trackpad. Plant the hammer head, pull, and launch yourself onto pipes, chairs, roofsβanything thatβll hold. The movement is super analog, so tiny hand motions matter more than spamming big circles. Thereβs even a narrator (Bennett Foddy) dropping quotes about patience and failure while you copeβsometimes comforting, sometimes βbro please.β
What to expect
The map is basically a highlight reel of traps. Early on, βDevilβs Chimneyβ teaches careful placements; later, βOrange Hellβ punishes greedy swings. Youβll learn techniques like soft plants (set the hammer down before pushing), pogo hops (tap and bounce for height), and slide control (light, steady drags instead of panic yanks). Itβs not about strength; itβs about clean angles.
Tips that saved my sanity
Dial your sensitivity. Too high and you launch to Brazil; too low and you canβt clear gaps.
Look ahead, not down. Aim your hammer for the next hook point before you jump.
Commit or reset. Half-send jumps cause weird spinsβeither go for it or settle and re-plant.
Breathe after falls. Tilt makes you sloppy. Take five seconds, then climb it back.
Why it rules
When you chain a perfect grab β vault β pogo β perch, it feels like landing a skate trick. Thereβs zero fluff: just you, physics, and stubbornness. Itβs tough, but fair enough that every comeback feels earned.
Two related climbs when you want more pain (the good kind):
β’ Only Up β 3D vertical parkour where one slip equals a long ride down.
β’ Climb Over It β same βhammer brainβ energy with new obstacles to master.
GETTING OVER IT loads fast on our servers and plays great on school Chromebooks. Itβs free, unblocked, unbanned and built for quick 5β10 minute sessions.
