BLOCK THE PIG β Classroom Center G Review & Tips Tricks:
Block the Pig is a tiny puzzle that eats huge chunks of timeβin a good way. Itβs you vs. one very motivated pig on a honeycomb board. Each turn you drop a stone; each turn the pig scoots one hex toward the edge. If it reaches the border, you oink-lose. If you fence it in, you win and feel like a mastermind.
How it plays
You start with the pig near the center. Tap or click a hex to place a wall, then watch the pig make its next move along whatever path is open. Sounds simple, but hex grids connect on six sides, so new βsneak lanesβ appear fast. The trick is less about chasing the pig and more about shaping the mapβbuilding a loose ring first, then squeezing until thereβs literally nowhere left to trot.
What makes it click
Block the Pig dumps the fluff and gives you pure logic. No timers, no RNG chaosβjust reading paths and thinking two moves ahead. Youβll notice patterns fast: corridors, pinch points, and forked routes where one perfect stone shuts down two options. When the pig pivots, you pivot cleaner. Every trap you set teaches the next one.
Tips from a fellow grinder
1) Open wide: place your first stones a few tiles out to sketch a circle; too close and it slips past the side.
2) Cut diagonals: if two routes converge, wall the merge point and you delete both.
3) Save a stopper: keep one βemergencyβ hex in mind to plug the final gap when the pig panics.
4) Watch the shortest path: imagine a line to the edge and aim your blocks to make that line longer every turn.
