Okay, platforming fans—this one’s cracked in the best way. Worlds Within Worlds is a tight, timing-heavy platformer where every level dares you to grab three golden leaves and escape without face-planting into hazards. Five themed worlds keep remixing the rules, and once you clear the campaign, there’s an endless mode that basically says, “So you think you’re good?”

How it plays
You’re sprinting, wall-jumping, and threading through traps while hunting those leaves. Each stage is built like a speedrun puzzle: moving platforms, blade cycles, sneaky side paths, and risk–reward leaf placements that force you to decide—play safe or go hero. Levels hide alt routes that shave seconds off your time if you’re bold enough to take them.

Butterfly assist (local co-op)
Got a friend nearby? They can join as a magical butterfly that can freeze enemies or disable traps for a moment. The explorer still has to nail the jumps, but a clutch freeze on a nasty guard or spinning hazard can turn a “nope” into a perfect run. It’s hilarious teamwork and great for practicing tough sections.

Speedrun bait
The game low-key begs you to grind times. Hit clean line-ups, buffer jumps on platform edges, and chain short hops to keep momentum. The wild goal floating around the community is a sub-7-minute full clear—totally doable if you route smart and stop panic-jumping.

Endgame & replay
Clear the story and unlock Infinite Descent, where stages keep generating and the difficulty ramps forever. It’s pure survival: read patterns, don’t get greedy for leaves, and reset bad cycles instead of forcing scuffed jumps.

• Watch cycles first; a two-second wait beats a ten-minute choke.
