Snail Bob 2 is that chill-but-sneaky puzzle adventure where you babysit the world’s most determined snail as he hustles to his grandpa’s birthday. Bob walks on his own, so your job is to engineer the path: flip levers, rotate platforms, poke buttons, and time moving gizmos so he doesn’t faceplant into spikes or hungry bugs. It starts cozy… then the timing gets tight and you’re suddenly sweating over a swinging log like it’s finals week.

How it plays
You don’t steer Bob directly. Instead, you stop/start him, turn him around when needed, and mess with the level’s contraptions to build a safe route. Bridges slide, lifts crank, traps reset, and some switches only stay active for a moment—so think two steps ahead. The best move is pausing Bob at edges, setting up the next chain reaction, then sending him on his merry (slimy) way.

Stars & secrets
Every stage hides stars in the background—behind leaves, tucked in wood grain, or revealed by tapping suspicious stuff. Going for three-star clears changes the vibe from “walk to exit” to “mini treasure hunt.” My routine: pause Bob, scan for stars, map the sequence, then unpause and snag the last star mid-movement. Clean.

Real tips from the grind
• Order matters. If a spring launches Bob, make sure the landing platform is already rotated and any enemy cycle is favorable before you unpause.
• Use the turnaround. Sometimes the fastest fix is sending Bob two steps back to resync a moving hazard.
• Watch the cues. Gears clicking faster or lights blinking usually mean “do it now.”
• Restart is your friend. Levels are bite-sized; a quick retry is faster than forcing a scuffed route.
