About SHORT LIFE 2
How it plays
Move with arrows or WASD, tap jumps instead of holding, and use crouch to slip under low traps without bonking your head. The trick is scouting: inch forward to “wake up” pressure plates, then commit with clean timing. Miss a beat and you’re doing the world’s most dramatic belly flop back to the last checkpoint.
Levels & unlocks
Every stage hides stars in spicy spots (over swinging axes, past rolling mines). Stars aren’t just a flex—they unlock new characters with goofy animations that make even disasters entertaining. Later levels stack hazards into full-on Rube Goldberg chains: bait a dart, duck a ceiling saw, roll through a safe window, then hop a flaming barrel like you practiced it for weeks. Nail a whole sequence without stopping and it legit feels like speedrunner mode.
Skill tips (from too many bruises)
Feather the stick/keys. Micro-steps trigger traps safely before you commit.
Jump late. Short, late hops clear spikes without smacking the next hazard.
Mind the headroom. Crouch at ledges with low ceilings or you’ll dome yourself into instant karma.
Checkpoint etiquette. If you just hit one, practice the next timing a couple times—it’s free learning.
Why it’s a keeper
Fast retries, readable hazards, and silly ragdoll physics turn every fail into a story. It’s perfect for quick breaks but sneaky deep if you’re chasing all stars and clean runs. If “I can totally make that jump” lives rent-free in your head, this is your new homework delay button.
