Mad Day Special throws you behind the wheel of a beefed-up truck and points you straight at an alien problem—because they kidnapped your pet octopus (rude). It’s a side-scrolling mix of runner, shooter, and “don’t-flip-the-truck” chaos where you chain jumps, blasts, and rams to keep momentum and cash rolling in. If you like games that feel fast and crunchy from the first second, this one hooks quick.

How it plays
Controls are tight and old-school: Space to jump, X (or mouse) to fire, and directional keys to steady your landings. The road is a booby-trapped obstacle course—mines, turrets, crates, and alien grunts—so clean timing matters. The magic is rhythm: jump late for flat landings, squeeze shots mid-air, and hit boost pads without wobbling so you don’t bleed speed. Boss rounds pop in and turn the highway into a bullet parade, forcing you to weave while landing those rocket bursts.

Upgrades & progression
The garage is where runs get spicy. Pump coins into the gun for higher DPS, beef up the rocket launcher for burst windows, stack armor so mistakes don’t end the day, and sharpen the ram to bulldoze through clusters. Cosmetic gear (hats, outfits) isn’t just drip—some pieces add quirky stat bumps, so you can meme and min-max. Short stages, quick retries, and steady coin flow make the “one more run” loop real.

Keep the wheels flat. Late jumps = smoother landings = more speed.
Shoot on the way down. Your aim stabilizes as you descend, letting rockets connect while you line up the next ramp.
Armor first, burst second. Early survivability gets you deeper, which prints more coins for damage later.
Enter bosses loaded. Save a rocket or two; bursting during telegraphed patterns melts health bars.
