About FNAF

Five Nights at Freddy’s – Night-shift survival for people who like jump scares with homework due tomorrow

Welcome to the midnight gig nobody wants. In Five Nights at Freddy’s you’re the security guard at Fazbear’s after hours, nursing a dying power meter while the animatronics play peek-a-boo with your soul. You’ve got cameras, door lights, and two steel doors that eat power like popcorn. Use them wrong and you’ll be singing lullabies with Freddy in the dark.

How it really plays
The trick isn’t mashing cameras—it’s rhythm. Do short loops: left light → right light → quick cam check (Pirate Cove for Foxy, stage glance for Freddy) → repeat. If a fuzzy face is in a doorway, drop the door, count to a calm three, then re-check. Never camp on cameras, and never keep both doors shut unless you love the “0% power” theme song. Nights ramp hard, so every click has to matter.

Know your nightmares
Bonnie loves the left side and appears with zero chill—train your thumb for that door. Chica stalks the right, often baiting you with subtle hallway shadows. Foxy punishes neglect: don’t stare, just tap Pirate Cove often so he stays shy. Freddy is the closer; when he starts laughing and going dark on cams, tighten your loop and stop wasting power. Headphones help—footsteps and giggles are free intel.

Power math (the part nobody tells you)
Lights are cheap if you flick them; doors are expensive if you panic. Keep the fan running (you can’t turn it off anyway), kill the office light habit, and set a mental budget per hour. If you hit 0% near 5 AM, take hands off everything; sometimes Freddy’s song stalls just long enough for a miracle 6 AM. It feels illegal and it’s awesome.

Two spooky warm-ups before your next night
• Granny — slow, sneaky horror where sound is everything.
• The Backrooms — liminal maze crawling with “nope.”
