Baldi’s Basics turns school into a stealth-speedrun where math = survival. Your mission is simple on paper: collect seven notebooks and find the exit. But every wrong answer makes Baldi faster, and that ruler slap… slap… slap… gets louder until your palms are sweaty and you’re power-walking like gym class just started.

How it plays
Each notebook throws quick math at you—early ones are chill, later ones scramble your brain while Baldi hunts by sound. The school’s a maze of long halls, faculty rooms, and blind corners, so think line-of-sight and noise control. Running, opening doors, even using certain items can bait him toward you.

Items that save runs
BSODA pushes Baldi down a hallway—clutch on long, straight escapes.
Energy-Flavored Zesty Bar tops your stamina so you can sprint through big rotations.
Safety Scissors cut Playtime’s jump rope and free you from random time sinks.
Alarm Clock drags Baldi to a decoy spot—drop it, then rotate the other way.
WD-NoSquee silences a door so he won’t hear it open.
Yellow Door Lock blocks a corridor to buy space.
Quarter feeds vending machines for more BSODA or snacks.

Hallway hazards (learn their vibes)
Playtime wastes seconds with jump rope. Principal snitches for running—detention is basically a free Baldi delivery. It’s a Bully steals an item if you pass; bribe with something cheap. Gotta Sweep and 1st Prize can yeet you into—or away from—danger. Use their shoves smartly.

Route like a pro
Plan a loop that hits vending machines and safe classrooms. Walk more than you think; sprint only to break sight or cross big lanes. Peek corners, time doors so they close behind you, and always hold one emergency item (BSODA or Scissors). Most losses are panic, not bad RNG.

• Granny — sneak, distract, and escape a trap-filled house.
• The Backrooms — wander the liminal maze and listen for what’s hunting you.
