Among Us is peak “friendship test” energy — tiny beans fixing a spaceship while a couple of sneaky players pretend to help and actually, you know, ruin everything. As a Crewmate, you’re speed-running tasks like Fix Wiring, Swipe Card, and the legendary MedBay Scan. As an Impostor, you’re faking it, sabotaging lights and O2, and trying not to look mega sus when bodies drop. Meetings are pure chaos: report, defend, accuse, and pray the vote doesn’t yeet you into the void.

Maps & modes
The Skeld is classic corridors with vents everywhere, MIRA HQ has tight chokepoints and decontam shenanigans, Polus is icy with outdoor vision tricks, and The Airship is huge with multiple spawn points and ladders (third-party city). There’s also Hide n Seek — one hunter, everyone else panicking — and optional roles that shake the meta: Scientist (portable vitals), Engineer (can vent), Guardian Angel (post-ghost shield), plus the Impostor Shapeshifter for chef’s-kiss framing plays.

How to look less sus (Crewmate)
• Path smart. Chain nearby tasks so your route tells a story.
• Use vision right. Lights off? Stick with a buddy and call rooms by name.
• Clear publicly. If visuals are on, queue MedBay or Weapons to earn instant trust.

How to not panic (Impostor)
• Blend timings. Fake short tasks first; long tasks trap you.
• Sabotage with purpose. Doors to isolate, lights to hide pathing, O2/Reactors to split the lobby.
• Talk early. Offer info before you’re asked so you don’t get spotlighted.

Why it’s a banger
Every round is a mini-mystery. Settings like Anonymous Votes and Confirm Ejects change the vibe from chill party to courtroom drama. And the skill isn’t just aim — it’s reading people, remembering paths, and keeping a straight face when your best friend says, “I was with red.” (Sure you were, buddy.)
